These Terms of Service explain how Webicious works — from subscriptions and payments to ownership, cancellations, and support. Simple terms, no fuss.

Welcome to Webicious, a trading name of Opyx Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the rules for using our website, https://webicious.uk, and for purchasing or subscribing to our website services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Company name: Webicious Ltd
Registered office: 55 Longsmith Street | Gloucester | GL1 2HT
Email: [email protected]
Company number: 11063840
Website: https://webicious.uk

2. Our Services

Webicious provides affordable, fully managed website packages, including hosting, maintenance, backups, updates, and support — all for a monthly subscription.

Depending on your selected plan, our services may include:

  • Website setup and design using WordPress

  • Hosting and SSL security

  • Domain setup and management (if applicable)

  • Regular maintenance, backups, and content updates (within fair use)

  • Technical support and performance monitoring

Any additional or custom services (such as SEO, eCommerce, or bespoke development) may require a separate agreement or quotation.

3. Subscription & Payment

a. Pricing

Our services are provided on a subscription basis, starting from £29 per month, unless otherwise stated.

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable VAT (if charged).

b. Payments

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically.

  • You may cancel at any time after the initial 3-month minimum term by giving at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date.

c. Missed Payments

If payment fails or is not received, your website may be suspended until the account is brought up to date. We’ll always notify you first.

4. Ownership & Buy-Out Option

All websites created by Webicious remain the intellectual property of Webicious Ltd while under an active subscription.

If you wish to own your website outright, a buy-out fee may apply (quoted based on your plan and project scope). Once paid, ownership of the website design and files will be transferred to you, excluding any third-party licensed elements.

Content and images you provide always remain your property.

5. Fair Use Policy

Monthly plans include a reasonable allowance for small updates and edits (e.g. changing text, swapping images, adding pages within your plan limit).

Extensive redesigns, new functionality, or major content overhauls may be quoted separately.

We’ll always let you know before performing any work that might incur additional costs.

6. Domains & Hosting

If we register or manage a domain name for you, it will be held under our registrar account for as long as you remain a Webicious client.

If you cancel your plan or request a transfer, we can release your domain to another registrar upon request and payment of any applicable transfer or admin fees.

Hosting, backups, and security are included in your plan — we handle all technical aspects for you.

7. Cancellations

You can cancel your plan any time after the 3-month minimum period by emailing [email protected].

Upon cancellation:

  • Your website will be taken offline at the end of your current billing cycle.

  • If you wish to keep your website, we’ll provide a buy-out quote.

  • Backups and data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation before being deleted.

8. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time, except where required by law or if a refund is explicitly agreed upon in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to ensure your website runs smoothly and securely, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service at all times.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business interruptions, arising from the use or inability to use our services.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or harmful activity, including:

  • Hosting or distributing illegal or defamatory content

  • Sending spam or malware

  • Infringing intellectual property rights

  • Engaging in abusive or fraudulent behaviour

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All design elements, templates, and systems provided by Webicious remain our intellectual property unless explicitly transferred.

You must not copy, reproduce, or resell any part of our platform or materials without our permission.

12. Communication

We primarily communicate by email and online chat to keep things quick and efficient.

By using our services, you consent to receive service updates, billing notices, and occasional marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations.
When we do, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
