Websites for private consultants

A website of your own for your private practice

Hospital pages and directory listings show you alongside everyone else, on someone else’s terms. A Webicious website gives patients, GPs and insurers one credible place to find your specialist interests, your fees and how to book with your secretary.

Why it matters

Your reputation deserves more than a directory listing

Most patients and referring GPs search your name before they book. Too often, what they find is a hospital profile you can’t update, a directory listing that sits next to your peers, or a page that hasn’t changed in years.

A simple, professional website of your own puts you back in charge of that first impression, quietly and without fuss.

What it shows

Everything a patient, GP or insurer looks for

Your credentials

GMC number and registration, specialist register entry, qualifications, and your NHS and private appointments.

Your specialist interests

The conditions you treat and the procedures you perform, explained in plain English for patients.

Where you practice

The hospitals and clinics where you see patients, with clear contact details for each.

Insurers and self-pay fees

The insurers that recognise you, and a guide to self-pay consultation fees so patients know where they stand.

A simple route to your secretary

Your secretary’s details and a short booking request form that never asks for clinical information.

Reviews and publications

Your Doctify or Top Doctors reviews displayed on your own website, alongside your publications and research.

Compliance

Discreet, compliant and private

Your website is written in line with GMC guidance on advertising and the advertising rules for healthcare. It never collects clinical information, it’s hosted in the UK, and it doesn’t track your patients.

We’ll always ask you to approve the wording before anything goes live.

Questions

Questions consultants ask us

I already have a Doctify or Top Doctors profile. Do I need a website as well?

They work well together. Directory profiles help patients find you; your own website is where they decide. We can display your reviews on your website so the two support each other.

Yes. Your secretary can email us directly and we’ll make the change. We can also give them editing access if you prefer.

Yes. We can add a page for instructing solicitors, with your CV available to download and a simple instruction enquiry form.

An hour or so. You send us your CV and a photograph, answer a few questions by email and approve the draft. We do everything else.

See how your website measures up

Send us your website address and we’ll email you a short, plain-English report: how it performs on a phone, how accessible and secure it is, and how easily patients and Google can find what matters. It’s free, there’s no obligation, and nobody will phone you.

We reply by email within two working days. Or ask us a question
